A lot of elected Democrats go to southern black churches and openly campaign. One could not call that separation of church and state.

The times a Republican have campaigned in a church are so minuscule as to be non existent. Yet, every e******n season, Democrats flock to churches to campaign. At least, they manage church attendance every two, four or six years depending upon the office they are seeking.

No, should the NRA be forced to do the same? There are many Democratic members of the NRA. Union endorsements go to candidates that protect the interest of workers. The other issues that effect the members preference are of no relevance.

Kevyn, again you are very wrong. The percentage of NRA members that are Democrat is very low, quite probably less than 1%. But what would I know I’ve only been a life member for fifty years. The community I’m in is about 60K+ and I was executive chair of the local gun range, I doubt we have one Democrat member. You can’t sign on to the Democrat platform if you are a gun owner.
