Two political parties, two philosophies of government and now two divisions struggling for the power to determine the future of this nation. How did we get here? The English Snooker in 1783

Thank you for the article. It expresses exactly what I think about the Democrat Party of the USA. The Dem Party has always followed a line that is suppressive but vehemently denied the results. I have watched throughout my life as the Democrat Party has professed to bring change but nothing has ever changed that benefited all Americans. Some Americans benefited but they have always been the sycophants who follow the Democrat leadership. It is the party of smoke and mirrors. I truly cannot understand how people can be so gullible as to believe the falsehoods presented by that party. For people who truly look at history it is rather obvious that nothing good changes under democrat rule. I looked again at Plato’s definition of a Democratic Man. Generally it seems that Plato was in favor of democracy. However I did come across a comment by one author that said Plato was being satirical or sarcastic in his description of a democratic man.
The Republican Party is no better though. It runs against the Democrat Party but it never follows through on anything that makes the two parties different. When a bill comes up that should reflect the different policies the Republican party most often shows no spine and after a token rebel stance will v**e lockstep with the Democrat.

I do realize that but I also realize that he who controls the press controls the minds of the masses. The Democrat Party in the US always is represented in the press as the party of the oppressed.
