Captain Timothy Nick testified before Congress that Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy made multiple false claims about what happened that appeared in the Defense Department Inspector General Report.
McCarthy told the Pentagon he spoke to Major General Walker multiple times on J****** 6 following his request for Guard deployment to the Capitol at 1:50 PM.
Captain Nick said that these conversations never happened.
“I’m here today to aid the Subcommittee in resolving factual errors in the official record of what happened on J****** 6, 2021, specifically regarding the alleged District of Columbia National Guard delayed response caused by a critical P**********lly-appointed, Senate-confirmed Pentagon senior official,” Captain Nick testified.
