"Many of the individuals who founded the [Stage Door] Canteen were part of the Theater Guild and from the outset, like their motion picture colleagues in California who founded the Hollywood Canteen, they made a conscious decision that r****m / segregation was not allowed.

For some of these men and women, visiting the venue was their first experience of integration.
The entire US military was segregated until President Harry Truman signed an Executive Order on 26 July 1948 ordering racial integration.
...The most radical aspect of the canteen's non-discrimination policy was its implicit message that racial tensions were best addressed by changing white thought and behavior, rather than by altering black behavior and circumstances.
In the New York canteen, white and black hostesses were instructed to dance with whoever approached them, regardless of their race."

That would be the demorats who used the KKK as their whipping boys on b****s, v**ed against b****s v****g rights, v**ed against the Civil Rights Act, owned 95% of the s***es and did not want to end s***ery. Thank God the Christians and Republicans ended s***ery.

That's because Lincoln was. Republican. The party didn't begin until 8 years or thereabouts before he was elected president.

And just like today, some Southern Republicans loved black people so much they thought that they should use some of the debt payments for WWI to ship all black people back to Africa. MAGA

The African nations didn't want the s***es back much, (the s***es had too many problems) like Islamic countries don't want to take Palestinians into their country. They are problem children and nobody wants the Palestinians. The Jordanians tried to take them in once but the Palestinians tried to o*******w the Jordanian government so the Palestinians were sent packing back home.

The point is that the good white people of the deep south wanted to send them back. Whether they wanted to be sent or not.
Which is just about what a lot of them would be perfectly ok with even today. That's what DJ has done for this country. Made the KKK acceptable again.

Senator Robert Byrd from West Virginia, a deceased former Grand D**gon, would love you for spreading this propaganda. Don't forget, Hitlery Rotten Clinton and Joe Bribem loved KKK member Byrd, a White who wanted to send b****s back to Africa, and called him their lovable Senator from W. VIrginia and their mentor. They learned well to keep their KKK affiliation hidden and to this day neither one has denounced Byrd as a Klansman. Not only do we have a 2-tiered justice system but we have a 2-tiered Klansman affiliation system too. I know the parties have basically done a switch. The old Republicans are more or less the new Democratic party. & Vice versa. I am NOP myself. Can't v**e in any primaries. Which can be annoying at times.
