Should Mr Trump Testify? IMO the best advice is for him to remain quiet and Not testify. Although He will not be quiet as shown by his daily comments. That is when he is not sleeping or other things that have been seen and or heard in court.

If it's all predecided what's the point of anyone testifying?

True, and it would be a setup for some bogus perjury charge

Originally I would have said yes. I think he lost the Carrol suit partly because he did not testify on his own behalf. However, the judge in this case has already told Trump if he takes the stand that the judge will allow prosecution to open up all sorts of avenues of questioning such as the Carrol case, the other Trump cases and anything else they want to. He is not being allowed to defend himself without threat of reprisal from this Judge and prosecution. I don't see how he can testify under this threat.

NO, cross-examination will not end until they can find, or manufacture, some way to discredit Trump.

Running the Gauntlet they have in store for him, will truly require nerves of steel.

I reckon that his lawyers can argue his case better than he.

You bet he should, as long as he is under oath!

Firstly, the charges against Trump are all misdemeanors on which the Statute of Limitations has expired. The only way they can be sustained is if they were in furtherance of a felony that Trump has never been convicted of. Both the DOJ and the Federal E******n Commission have determined that there was no underlying felony. Bragg must prove the commission of a felony that has been denied by two Federal Agencies who specialize in this sort of thing. Fatso Bragg should go back to doing what he does best, which is turning black felons loose with no bail so they can commit more felonies. Even if he is convicted in this kangaroo court, it will be thrown out by the Appeals Court. This is nothing more than a t***sparent load of horsecrap to keep Trump occupied when he should be campaigning. The only charges against Trump that have even a faint resemblance to possibly justified is Mar-a-Lago, and that one is pretty shaky.

An excellent assessment of the situation.
