As mentioned, there are exceptions to every rule. But as many here have commented, "most colleges" are more liberal than conservative. Logically speaking, if education level dictates e*******l participation then college grads would be more likely to be allowed to v**e. If colleges are liberal institutions, grads tend to be Dems. If A = B and B = C, then A usually = C as well. 😉

By the way, trick question. I embarrassed a geography teacher with this.

How many states are there?

No! It would be unfair. You just completed two geography courses.

Weeeellll...
(Still trying to give an intelligent answer but feeling I'm going to flunk regardless... )
48 in the Continental US plus Alaska and Hawaii. Last I knew, Puerto Rico hasn't been granted statehood yet, nor the District of Columbia, so...
48+2=50 states

There. I bit. Now you may tell me why I'm wrong. 😁

There are 46 states. There are four Commonwealths; Kentucky, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Virginia. In fact, their constitutions use the word Commonwealth. There are things added to that designation.

In case, you don’t know. I am constantly taking online courses. That’s why I did the geography Aunti mentioned.

For MA, it was to say they were going to be a free, sovereign and have independence as a group.

The words are from people like John Locke and Thomas Hobbs. It was about having a community for the common good.

It is also because that word was used a great deal during the 17th century.

There is probably more, but those were the big questions on the exam.

I copied this from her. Her system crashed. She sent it to me to look at. I know less than she does on the finite stuff.

I tell you she has to have at least two extra degrees with the online classes she has taken.

Exactly. They have to stop with that insane elementary school song about 50 states!

By the way. Is tomorrow so to be less busy at the museum or are you in the end of school year school visit season?

Thank you for getting it before it vanished. It’s not on my system. It only shows up from your copying onto the thread.

I couldn’t see messages. He told me last time I could call him. He asked weird questions, got into my system and did magic. For a change it was not my error.
