One of the questions Christians have debated through the ages is, “What happens to people who die but have never heard of Jesus or the gospel?” The same question is asked about young children.

Personally, I believe those children are a separate category for which the Bible doesn’t really say much but provides a hint through David’s comment at the death of his son, “I shall go to him, but he will not return to me” (2 Samuel 12:23).

Regarding both categories, we should always remember what Abraham said to God, “Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?” (Genesis 18:25).

However, the Bible does make it clear: “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Salvation from our deserved punishment for sin is only possible through trusting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

But what if people haven’t heard?

God’s Word teaches that God has made it evident to all that he is the Creator: “For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse” (Romans 1:19–20).

We are told that all humans have a conscience: “They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts” (Romans 2:15).

Therefore, ALL humans know God exists. And if they want t***h, God will give it to them. “If you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God” (Proverbs 2:4–5).

In 1 Kings 10:1, we read that the queen of Sheba came seeking t***h. “Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came to test him with hard questions.” She is just one example of someone in the Bible who sought t***h, and God gave it to her. It would seem from Matthew 12:42, when talking about the religious leaders who rejected him, Jesus refers to the queen of Sheba as an example of someone who was pagan but recognized the t***h of God.

Every human is without excuse. If they want light, God will give them light. That’s God’s sovereignty. But then there’s also our responsibility: “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’” (Romans 10:14–15).

That’s why we should always do all we can to obey the great commission given in Matthew 28.

You didn't read the whole post?

Every human is without excuse of knowing there is a God. It's in our DNA. We can either suppress it or if we want light (Jesus), God will give it to us. If we don't, God won't give it to us.

It's quite simple as is how God usually operates when dealing with us.

I read it...
I don't disagree with the basic premise...
Don't think it says exactly what you are wanting it to say...

This is a question that is on my mind a lot. There are Catholic religious orders whose vocation is to pray for all souls that have died in sin (which includes Everyone, for as stated in the Bible "even a Just Man sins seven times a day "). This includes Everyone from all places and all times, from the dawn of mankind up to the present. Even the pre-born.

I join wirh these orders, praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

When you read Jesus' parable of the "sheep and goats" at the Time of Judgment it is easy to make the connection with the people saying, "Lord, when did we see you...?" Some of the dead honestly have no idea of who this Master is. And Jesus responds, "Whatsoever you did for the least of these, my brethren, you have done for me. "

So we are ultimately judged by the content of our hearts and by our actions.

Gotta Love our Just Judge! Jesus I Trust in You.

Praying for souls that have died in sin is a waste of time... they're in hell.

The only way one obtains heaven is to believe in Jesus and what he did for you on the cross before you die, thus being imputed with Jesus' righteousness and entrance into heaven when you die. If you don't have that your destiny is hell.

That the basics of it.

Exactly! Catholic dogma is full of holes! No preparatory and John 25:6 is explicit

So then all of the people that lived and died before the time of Christ are in hell? The most innocent and loving right along side the most evil and loathsome?

The first question is, "What is Religion?" What is the one true Religion? Many religions believe in a God. So, which is the true Religion and who is the true God?

Anything that People believe in could be considered a Religion, could it not?

How can an admitted White Catholic Man Decree that all White Christian People are "Terrorists"? He violates many "Tenets" of his declared Religion, does he not? Has he not been elevated to a "God" by his Followers?

How can any Christian Religion accept social behaviors that clearly violate their own religious teachings and preachings?

I suspect many people are real good at calling themselves Christians? But, they fall real short in practicing their stated Religions Teachings.

We Americans have created an entire Lawless and Immoral Society for ourselves. How is that Christian? How is that even morally right?

There are many in our Society so entrenched in Political Parties that they deny and reject everyone else's right to simply be themselves. Are the Democrat and Republicans not Religions by definition? It is obvious that their People worship their Party "Gods" above all else, including their stated "Religions". Those gods are called Biden and Trump, are they not?

Why must Christians "Fear" an All Forgiving "God"?

"Jesus" was a rogue Progressive Preacher of the "Jewish" People during his time on Earth, was he not? Was he not brutally Tortured and put to Death by his own People?

The god "Trump" is being brutally Tortured by his nemesis, the God called Biden, is he not? Their dev**ed Followers certainly think so, do they not?

What exactly was the Ressurrection? Was it a religious "Myth"? Or, was it a historical "Fact"?

Is Religion a selected and carefully indoctrinated State of Mind? Is it not a relationship between a Human and their own chosen God?

What is the true purpose of what particular "Religion" and its designated "God"?

America was founded as a "Christian" Nation, was it not? Where is its "Christian" Virture today?
