On April 1, Iran’s embassy compound in Damascus was hit by an Israeli strike, k*****g two senior officers in Tehran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Israel was expecting retaliatory strikes to happen at some point.

That's not to say who is in the right - just a reminder that there is a war going on over there.

And another going into it's third year further north. 🥺

Israel escalated far beyond what most of the world thought they would. If they didn't want a war with Iran, targeting the Iranian Embassy in Syra was not a great plan to avoid one

Actually Iran gave military equipment to Hamas to use against Israeli citizens... Israel was defending itself against Hamas, Iran..
