Do you know any teachers? If so, ask them if they would agree to carry a gun in their classroom. I doubt you'd find many who would.

I can count off six in our community. Even more interesting is not a one of those teachers have their children in public schools. In defiance of the powers that be one principal has a gun in a gun safe in the trunk of her car.

As a future teacher I have no problem with teachers who volunteer to be trained to being armed. I Don't think it should be condition of being hired by a school that you must agree to be trained and armed.

Wow! Except for Radar do you folks h**e kids? In my Viet Nam vets group, around the time of the Parkland School shootings EVERYONE was volunteering to be a guard or wh**ever was needed to protect the kids. Granted, most were either snipers or combat-trained. So what? We were prepared to defend our nation's children against 'd******c t*******ts.' Got another word for them?

Of course, they h**e children. They are unhappy did not end up disposed of at Planned Parenthood.
