That's what one man said, not the GOP. If the democrats really wanted to do something about the border, perhaps not opening it. Why do they push their bill instead of checking out HR2. The House already passed it. Why would they do that?
The bill that dems are pushing allows the same amount of folks coming here. It does nothing for security of the border. Most people would be hired for processing, not security.

I thought that the wording on the bill stated a Maximum of 5000/day not 5000 per day allowed before the border would be shut down.
