Just saw the eclipse with six friends who were serious eclipse viewers. They had telescope and viewers.We had almost the best conditions you could get. We saw a large solar flare and a large c****a.Ten minutes later it clouded up a bit. Awesome experience!

It was that cloudy here some of the time I could watch it with my naked eye and sometimes not at all. A great experience.

I saw that solar flare in the one shot on TV! Pretty cool. Eclipse day was mostly a bust here. Too overcast to see the sun at all. The fast t***sition from fairly light to night-dark to light again in mid afternoon was eerie though.
Glad you had a good view of it peg. My sister from Mass. drove up to VT with her husband to watch. They had a good view too.
