2012 was when the Admin joined (or created?) OPP. I honestly don't know who the Admin is, though I would assume it probably is someone who, if not a regular, at least gets emails from the site.
(I get caught by that too - mistaking the 'join' date for the post date). It's easy to do.

To be fair, as you can see the post IS old - from October of 2017. I only read it because I read everything in the rules and FAQ when I first joined back in December. Yeah, I'm weird like that.

Anyway I thought a reminder for all of us might not hurt.

Keeping it civil here might make for a much more interesting place for discussion of policy.

It really needs to stop though. It isn't even ALL the people on both sides, and not all the time.

As I said, I thought a reminder of what Admin wanted this site to be and how that might best be achieved wouldn't hurt.
