Solving Farm Labor Shortage.

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Nancy Pelosi & other liberals have been agonizing that we need immigrant labor to make sure crops get harvested rather than rotting in the fields.

First of all, that's r****t to assume that migrants are going to do farming labor. You know, it's only permissible to accuse Republicans of r****m.

But, if there isn't enough labor to harvest the crops, there's a simple solution; raise wages to attract other workers.
It's the law of supply & demand. Even liberals can't repeal it and it's so simple that even liberals can understand it.

Maybe liberals don't like it because the money doesn't go through them so they can't get credit for increasing wages.

Using your "simple" solution, how much higher do you imagine the prices will be in the grocery stores to pay for this wage increase?

There are millions of able bodied citizens sitting home collecting welfare checks paid for by hard working citizens who get nothing in return. I'm sure those collecting welfare would be more than happy to go out and harvest crops during the season to contribute something back and show their appreciation.
