The main problem with our elected officials whether they are democrats Republicans independents or something else is their love of money and second their love of power. Having power is OK as long as one does not abuse that power but that will always be a possibility. But money is so influential that we need to get it out of politics. Our politicians would make better decision for America if there were no lobbyists, no campaign donations and no stock trading or business deals made by elected officials. If we ca not change this, our country will continue to digress and get worse for us.

We should be able to edit the bank accounts of politicians. A 'before and after' thing. I'm sure this won't eliminate ALL corruption, but it would help. (I know...no politician would v**e for it. I wonder why ?!?!)
