You do not have to be a Christian to be a fair and respectful person, my friend.
And don't feel left out! I suspect he will pick a Jewish Holiday to declare as National Bring a P*******e to School Day.

I won't be shocked if he actually cancelled Passover because of pro- Hamas supporters that he needs..

What is the penalty for violating this ban? Also who is going to enforce it?

Last Christmas he refused to light Menorah next to Christmas tree because he was afraid to make his muslum supporters mad..Will he do the same this year??

Randy may I ask a question? If yesterday was not Easter Sunday would there have been such a response here on OPP? There are many T***s who are Christians just like you and me. I don't see it as encroachment as a Christian.

I am not trying to start anything but is it not possible the reason to not allow religious symbols for the children's egg designs is that it was not aimed at just Christian symbols but all religious symbols(to include the Star of David, A Buddhist prayer wheel, or symbols of Hinduism etc.) I think that not all the children present were Christian as the event recognized military families.

I don't think so, my friend. I think it had everything to do with it being Easter. And I am no longer sure it is entirely valid. Someone said this day was set to always fall on March 31st several years ago.....not just this season. If true, then the argument that it should remain on that set day has some validity. I don"t know the t***h of this. Just something I read.

Thankyou for answering I agree the reaction was due to the day being Easter Sunday this year. I did look up the original proclamation which was MArch 31 2010.
