We've been keeping up with this gal, and she's a fighter.

I met a porcupine once. The only one I’ve ever seen in person. I was in the Adirondack mountains deer hunting when I came across this big beautiful beast. It was easily 5 feet long and I was able to walk up to it even though it was running as fast as it could go. When it got to that tree I was eye to eye with it and it just looked at me. Making eye contact with it from only 2 feet away is a great memory. I could tell this old beast had been around a long time. I’ll always remember him as the “Old Man on the Mountain”.
