While Vice president Harris is entirely capable of assuming the role of president due to the rampant r****m and sexism our nation suffers she is not the ideal running mate for President Trump. It of course would be problematic to replace her at this juncture but there is one very good way to do so. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor has some health issues and is considering stepping down so as not to risk being replaced without democrats holding the senate. Harris is younger and in good health and Biden could appoint her to the court. This accomplishes several very worthwhile goals. Biden could choose a rock star VP as he has already made history by choosing the first woman and woman of color as his VP. Say someone like George Clooney or Michelle Obama who are wildly popular. If the senate by chance flips they couldn’t block a qualified nominee to the court as they have in the past and Harris would fly through confirmation. Finally it would outrage the nut job MAGA cult.
