It's entirely possible. But he was the one who said that in the first place.

Another question though - if he is totally innocent of all these charges why have he and his lawyers done everything they possibly can to delay all these trials as long as they possibly can? Would you not think he would want to get it over with quickly and be acquitted so he could just get on with running for office?

I have never said that he was innocent on everything. With That many charges, I'm sure some may stick. That would happen with anyone.

As far as getting them all done quickly. I suppose he could. I'm not his lawyers so I really couldn't say. Doubtful they will, tho. Especially if you are appealing a case that could have reverberating effects on other charges you have against you. I'd wait for that, too. That and get time for more defensive/offense moves.

Is he trying to push it past the e******n? In my humble opinion, of course he is. Anyone would running for office.

Why were the charges All made so close to the e******n? Why are some Democrats saying Alot of the charges could have been brought up years ago ending in a minimal fine. I don't know that either.

Just like I don't understand some of the charges. Some seem to be a duplicate of another.

I have never said that he was innocent on everythi... (show quote)

If I had to guess on the timing, it may have been simply that no one wanted to be the first to actually bring criminal charges against a former president, no matter how well deserved. But every one of the indictments was brought before grand juries for consideration first, and the grand juries in the various jurisdictions all v**ed to indict and take him to trial. If there was nothing to it, and they were shown evidence that was not convincing, it isn't likely they would have done that. It's more likely the opposite is true, and he is trying to delay in the hope that he wins and won't have to ever be tried and perhaps serve time in jail.

Fair point. But, it still seems suspicious. As far as the jurisdictions go, we're they more left or more right. There's no middle anymore(I miss when you could have views of both parties and not get crap for it)
Anyways, I don't disagree that they made a decision on evidence presented. I'm not privy to what the evidence is/was not entered into record.

As far as trying to not be procesecuted by being President...it would be a Big bonus, indeed

They have not
Trump indictments: A very simple guide to his four big legal cases
An indictment is when a person is formally charged with a crime and must appear in court to enter a plea.

Mr Trump has appeared in court three times to face other charges and denied them all.
An indictment means a grand jury - set up by a prosecutor to determine whether there is enough evidence to pursue a prosecution - has found probable cause that someone committed a crime.
A charge comes when a prosecutor accuses someone of a criminal offense.
Can Trump still run for president?
Yes, there's nothing in the US Constitution to prevent Mr Trump from continuing his e******n campaign even though he has been charged with multiple crimes.
