I've been a huge fan of Clint since his 'Rawhide' days..to include his spaghetti westerns, his directorial debut in 'Play Misty for Me' and all subsequent films with which he was associated.

Same here.

Preparing to say goodbye... a message from Clint Eastwood

My Twilight Years at 90. If you realize each day is a gift, you may be near my age. As I enjoy my twilight years, I am often struck by the inevitability that the party must end.

There will come a clear, cold morning when there isn't any "more." No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat. It seems to me that one of the important things to do before that morning comes is to let every one of your family and friends know that you care for them by finding simple ways to let them know your heartfelt beliefs and the guiding principles of your life so they can always say, "He was my friend, and I know where he stood.”

"So, just in case I'm gone tomorrow, please know this: I v**ed against, Biden, that incompetent, lying, flip-flopping, insincere, double-talking, radical socialist, terrorist excusing, bleeding heart, narcissistic, scientific and economic moron that spent eight years in the White House with Obama trying to destroy our wonderful country and turn it into Muslim loving, socialist crap hole like Obama came from and I don't mean Hawaii! Participating in a gun buy-back program because you think criminals have too many guns is like having yourself castrated because you think your neighbors have too many kids.”

Regards, Clint

Make My Day -- Pass it on!
Preparing to say goodbye... a message from Clint E... (show quote)

When you do pass on, Clint, movie goers will very much miss the great films you made. When that time comes, may you RIP (but just keep in mind that a lot of people have lived to be past their 100th birthdays. )

My question to you would be why did you (and a handful of other Hollywood actors/actresses) decide to move to AR? Just curious. 🤔

Except I don’t like Trump. I just don’t think his policies are as destructive as Biden’s, whom you do like.

Yeah, you're right, non-hacker. T***hs often have trouble being accepted by many OPP ERWNJs, but lies are readily accepted by the same group. This thread's OP and subsequent posts serve as light examples.

I like Biden as opposed to Trump. I know you have been a DeSantis supporter. Thus, I posted 'Trump cult members', not you. You retain my respect.

Wrong again. Once you showed it was not a quote by Eastwood it was accepted.

You simply fail to understand we don’t care who wrote it. It is spot on accurate.

Now go house an i*****l i*******t.

Untrue. We can admit Trump says things that aren’t nice and extreme. Your cult sees nothing wrong at all with Dementia Joe and his governance.

Being in Texas, support your cult leader and take in a few dozen i*****l i*******ts.

Seriously doubt that Biden’s supporters will have much interest in accepting Biden’s invaders who he’s welcomed in, into their own homes. They know the danger to their own families if they should do so.

"Spot on" lies in the eyes/ears of the beholder.

I ask you to please search on what President Trump did actually get accomplished before you v**e. Might just help you and others compare the two candidates and what they accomplished for the American citizens. You may well be very surprised at just who put Americans/America first and who’s done just the opposite.

Might I suggest you look up who owns, runs and make the ‘calls’ for these so-called fact checkers. Most all are owned, ran and their ‘conclusions’ are made by liberals and often are incorrect with the ‘calls/conclusions’ they make. (Reader beware notice.)

That's my outlook on that subject

He is a Biden cult member. Joe does no wrong.

What’s perceived as “liking” Trump is not a personal liking. It’s a policy liking, especially on immigration open borders and Ukraine funding Dementia Joe supports.

DeSantis is a good choice; however, his campaign was unsuccessful.

What is most interesting about the whole thread is rather then focusing on the accuracy of the initial statements, the time consuming debate as to whether Eastwood said the accurate information.

Regardless of who said it, it was an accurate assessment of the situation at hand.
