FDA are not our friends. Many food additive chemicals the FDA approves (due to being paid off) are harmful for people to consume. Many of these same chemicals are banned in Europe yet unsuspecting Americans blindly eat products without reading labels. If there is an ingredient you can't pronounce, don't eat it. Do some research.
