One again Democrats, even ones on OPP, are saying the GOP will cut SS. This is the same lie that they have repeated every e******n for over fifty years. The SS program on its current path is not sustainable. An honest research of options the GOP is pursuing contains nothing about cutting benefits, but is actually pursuing ways to prevent cuts in benefits.

It won’t be listed as cutting benefits it will be listed as raising the age to collect , cutting the age for minors ,
Raising payroll taxes.

People work longer and live longer than when SS first started. Adjustments have to be made. Democrats proposed silver bullett of doing nothing but raise taxes will not work.

We want benefits to get better not worse .

People with money and healthcare are living longer !
This is not true for the rest of us.
Death ages are coming in .

I have not been told what you’ve been told .
Replenishing workers with lower aged workers would be a plus for employers .
More productive , lower healthcare costs ,
Less limited work incentives.
Longer employment.
A younger workforce overall . Would be a plus.

Upper incomes pay the same percentage amount as the lower.
either I pay what they pay , comparatively ,
Or they pay what I pay .
Lower my percentages or raise theirs .
Based on yearly income.
