A former White House aide to Donald Trump says it’s the ex-president’s “worst nightmare” to have his properties seized.
Omarosa Manigault Newman, a onetime “Apprentice” contestant, spoke to CNN’s Abby Phillip Wednesday about Trump’s looming deadline to put up a $464 million bond as he appeals his civil fraud conviction.

Trump has said he doesn’t have the money, and unsuccessfully petitioned last month to post $100 million instead. If he doesn’t pay up by Monday, his assets can be seized.
“He’s built his business on deceit and a house of cards. And as we can see, that house of cards is now going to collapse,” said Manigault Newman, who wrote a highly critical book about Trump after exiting her White House role in 2017.
“He’s asked to be treated differently than others who would be in this situation,” she added. “If it were you or I, we couldn’t go to the courts and say, ‘Look, we don’t have the money for our appeal, can you make some exceptions for us?’”
“But Donald Trump is expecting special treatment, special favors, because he believes that he is above the law. But in this case, he’s gonna have to pay, or he just will have his properties seized. And that is his worst nightmare.”
She said this episode will puncture the public persona Trump so carefully curated over the decades.
“From the first day of ‘The Apprentice,’ the story that was told to the audience was that Donald Trump was so extraordinarily wealthy,” she said. “And what we’ve learned from the producers is that this was an image that they actually helped to build.”
“But then he turns around and asks average Americans to send him money to help with his legal fees,” she continued.
“The t***h of the matter is that, now, the curtain is gonna be pulled back and his supporters are going to see that what Donald Trump says about his wealth and about the money that he has? He simply does not have it.”
Facing behemoth legal debts linked to his civil litigation, Trump is also battling four criminal indictments tied to alleged falsification of business records, his handling of classified documents and his attempt to overturn the 2020 e******n.

That b***h of a da already said she'd never do this to anyone else. This was all about getting Trump. So anything about"you or I being treated different" is nonsense. You'll never see it happen again. Not to anyone else anyway.

If your whole business is based on committing crimes, like our favorite career criminal did, do not be surprised if Trump is held accountable.

They’re just ignoring the Biden crime family money they have made for doing what??, they refuse to mention or answer questions about. Why I would ask? Because other than using Biden as their money influencer, they never had anything except joes influence to sell.

The Republicans in the house have tried for over a year to pin something, anything on the Bidens. They have failed. More amusing stuff about our favorite career criminal's impending bond. Trump has said he has the money on hand, but will not post it as he wants to use the money on his run for e******n. the thing Trump doesn't understand it's not his call, but AG James's call.

Everytime I read a post and it says the Biden crime family....I have to laugh because it's straight from the maga playbook...don't you people remember back in 2017 how Trump tried to do everything he could to shut down the Mueller investigation?.. because he was so innocent...what a crock of horses**t....that's why his cohorts where charged and either pleaded guilty or found guilty.... Trump would have faced charges to if not for him being president...And if your not guilty then why would someone try to shut down an investigation....Now you got these trumpers crying about how no one was injured and no foul play with this civil judgement of half a billion dollars...Again thats not true...other buisness was hurt because they borrowed money at much higher interest and terms ...also not being mentioned is the fluctuating of value from year to year for taxes and borrowing....you cant have it both ways....its a real sham how Trump can use campaign donations to pay for his legal fees...legal bills that should come from his own wallet...a guy i worked with a few years ago told me his mom sent trump 500 dollars that she really didnt have...but sent it because God told her to...it wasnt my business but hearing about that just made me think about how many other people do the same thing...kinda like sending Kenneth Copeland or Creflo Dollar money...but it's a free country so go ahead and do what you want....
