Yes I had to work six jobs to pay back my loan. But I’m glad for the deadbeats that went on vacation instead Of working. Now I could get another five jobs and help pay their loan.

Why is it goid that a President can ignore an order of the SCOTUS? Why is it good to increase the debt, relieve people of their responsibility, and spit in the face of those who honored their commitment. What is the definition of public service? How broad can it be?

I paid my way through college cutting fire wood and doing land surveys with a staff compass .and was debt free . I know others who have paid years on end of high
interest payments and still owe the principle amount . ---The interest rates are too damn high . The student loan deal is a failed program that was supposed to have an uplifting effect but has essentially put thousands under the burden of debt for their entire lives . A better plan is what is needed . A 2 year degree in a community college should be free to good students . I did not say bachelors or masters degree -med school- or law school . I said 2 year associates degree .

How about lowering the ridiculously high tuition rates?

If the government gets out of the student loan business, tuition rates will plummet. People won't spend their own money on worthless degrees

If it is such a great idea can I kindly ask you to send me a check to refund the cost I have to pay for somebody else's education! Or at least request appropriate discounts in any professional fees I have to pay them.

To update a famous quote: 'A trillion here, a trillion there, and pretty soon you're talking real money'! apologies to Sen. Everett Dirksen (?)
