Veterans took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. Veterans honor their oath unlike democrats, so it is only reasonable for them to want to disarm veterans and thereby remove the very reason the Second Amendment was put in the Constitution. Democrats despise veterans because we love America.

Of Course AMERICA FIRST Why Do You Say Every Democrat agrees with this idea. There are thousands of Veterans who are Democrats I am One I took that same Oath in June of 1974 at Lackland AFB. I and other Vets who are Democrats love America Like every other Vet who is a Republican. NOT ALL Democrats agree that taking away any one's 2nd Amendment Rights is a good idea. It's a STUPID IDea. As the article said the problem is that MH for Vets is understaffed and under funded. I don't think that the Vets in the HOR are going to let anything like this pass to become law. We need to get our elected reps to introduce funding for MH issues for both Veterans and civilians. You don't need to paint all Dems and liberals as Anti American Marxists. I am a proud Vet like others here who are not Republicans. We all understand the purpose and reason for the 2nd Amendment especially those in Congress (on both sides) who served.
