I v**ed. Well, I went to v**e anyway. President Biden says we must v**e and protect our democracy. Except it doesn't really exist in Democrat Chicago for an old Republican. Illinois is one of the worst Jerry Mandered states in America, thanks to our Governor and the entrenched Democrat Representatives in Springfield.
I v**ed for Donald Trump. He is the only one on the b****t who hasn't dropped out. And that goes for his delegates. Then there were Republicans for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District. V**e for three and there were only three. And they will lose to the three Democrats in the general e******n. The one place on the b****t where expertise really counts, and it will be 100% selected by politics. Ahh, States Attorney. Again only one name. Fill in the circle anyway. Everything else was no candidate.
Then on the back of the b****t was the b****t question. Our Mayor called this 'Bring Chicago Home'. A progressive tactic to give something a name that sounds nice, instead of calling it what it is. It is a Tax Increase question about sticking it to the rich, or maybe middle class businessmen trying to buy or sell some commercial property worth over a million. When do these Progressive politicians learn that our problems aren't more taxes, but less spending. This will just drive away businesses and wealthier people and the jobs they produce.
Then I see on the Internet before I went to v**e, that the Mayor's buddies, the Chicago Teachers Union, was brainwashing our kids to v**e for this, and taking them out of class to go v**e.
Yes, President Biden, you are for Democracy. But I see a growing dictatorship of the Left. I'd probably find more Democracy in Russia. And they wonder why so few people bother to v**e. The politicians offer only two choices, bad and worse.
Logically Right
Thanks. The only good thing was the only thing I had a real chance to v**e for was a tax increase by our mayor, That got defeated. Now he is threatening to push on with his progressive agenda. The people saying "NO" means nothing to them. They will do what they want to us as long as they can get away with it. But it is never for us.

I actually got a slightly edited version of that in the Chicago Tribune.
