It is appalling that our "free press", the laughably called "mainstream media", (MM) intentionally misrepresented/twisted what Trump said. And like so many other times when the MM, (the propaganda wing of the Democrat-C*******t Party) openly uses mis-information to denigrate/smear President Trump...it is appalling that it is necessary is to check-out what Trump actually said...because the MM cannot be trusted to even correctly represent it. It is rank propaganda...the MM knowingly refuses to report the t***h about Trump...willingly repeats what his lying opponents "wish" he said as gospel. Later they may grudgingly admit they were "wrong"...about all the details/facts...but of course they won't admit to being wrong about the person they've been lying about/smearing for 7-8 years...he is somehow the "bad guy". Not those who are targeting him. Look at how many "precedent" crushing events in the Left's goal of destroying Gestapo Joe's main political opponent have occurred. Seems an awful lot like e******n i**********e to publish known lies/misrepresentations, in the hopes of affecting the outcome of an up-coming e******n. But then Left-Wing Core Beliefs:

allow L*****t to employ one of their most often used tools. Their surety that...the end always justifies the means.

Including CNN, MSNBC, and many other MSM sources, but what is so unusual about that, they do it every chance they get. It has been the MO of the Democrats for lo these many years now. On the other hand, Trump could have chosen a more accurate descriptive term rather than "Bloodbath", such as a "mess" or a "disaster" or some such term. However, Trump, as a previously described "street fighter" isn't amenable to kowtowing to his detractors, a fact which, in my opinion, makes him a good choice to lead our Country when we are dealing with Putin's and Xi's. He is apt to use politically incorrect terms which is a never ending annoyance to Democrats and makes some Republicans nervous. It gives Democrats many opportunities to jump on him like a little dog nipping at his heels. It should be an exciting e******n. I have come to watch and wait for the next euphemism to be offered up by the Democrats. My latest favorite is i******s being referred to as "Newcomers."
