You do understand that Citizens United happened because the democrats were weaponizing/manipulating the FEC rules to c***t during the 2000 e******n? It was the Democrats who forced the whole mess on by their abuse of e******n rules to influence e******ns. Had the democrats played fair under the old rules and not c***ted in 2000 then Citizens United would never have happened. The SCOTUS solution may not have been the ideal solution but it did equalized the e******n playing field.
