If you thought trying to reduce crime by slashing police budgets and releasing criminals was insane, Pittsburgh city leaders are taking it up a notch.

Stephen Green at PJ Media reports that there are now no police at the six police stations in Pittsburgh between the hours of 3 and 7 a.m. During that time, they won’t respond to calls “that aren’t considered in-progress emergencies,” and other calls, including theft, criminal mischief, harassment and most burglar alarms, will be handled by an “enhanced telephone reporting unit.”
The Police Chief explained, "We don’t have very many crimes of violence in those periods of time." Maybe not now, but how about once the criminals realize the cops are all off-duty then and the only thing crime victims can reach is an answering service?
Reminder to the v**ers of Pittsburgh: If you keep v****g for Democrats, don’t complain if you have 24 hours a day of lawlessness and four hours of complete and utter lawlessness. You asked for it.
