The topics she brought up are considered "firebrand" by those who would rather not address them, but she impressed me as VERY intelligent, courageous and yet a rather gentle soul. On the issues we can compare her to Sarah Palin, but not in personality. I love and respect them both, but they each have a different style. Both VERY patriotic.
