Joey was clearly pumped full of drugs. That was in contrast to his usual dimwitted, lost-in-the-clouds appearances. The problem his enablers have is limiting the drugs only to when they are absolutely necessary. If they use them too often they risk him having a heart attack, as if he drank 20 cans of Red Bull in five minutes. He spends the weekends in Delaware because he can rest and his dementia doctors can treat him there without having to be entered into the White House visitor logs.

All in all it was a good night for Biden because his surviving the night means he is less likely to be yanked at the convention. It was a better night for Kamala Harris because she will remain on the ticket only if Joey is not removed. She then hopes he will make it past November 5 and January 20, at which point she will be strewing banana peels in his path. It was a very good night for Republicans because they can easily go after Biden's extreme tax-and-spend promises. I am certain people are working hard to add up the cost of all the free stuff that was promised last night.

One example of the giveaways: Biden pledged a two-year, $400 per month subsidy to home buyers. Let's say there are 4 million homes sold each year. Multiply 4 million by $400 by 12 months:
4 million x $400 x 12mo = $19.2 billion per year for at least two years

Needless to say, the government does not have an extra $38.4 billion laying around, and that was only one of Joey's promises. Biden's deficits have been in excess of $1 trillion each year.

Now let's do the pre-school math. Biden wants to fund free pre-school for 3-4 year olds. Let's say that is 8 million children x $1,000 per month x 12 months, or $96 billion per year. Where is that money going to come from? And, of course, those government pre-schools will be staffed by "woke" Marxist indoctrinators.

And he wants to expand Pell Grants (more free money for college students). He did not give a specific number.

Need I go on? He would spend us into oblivion.
