The current most impressive person in the entire US is a round ball player and a female! She is putting up more points per game than any male NCAA player and has broken every standing NCAA record!

She broke another 1000 point shooting record and the season is not over.

That is impressive to take on the oceans by herself!

Caitlan Clark is a very impressive player and will continue to be great in the WNBA. I follow sports a lot. But I do want to correct one impression. She recently broke Pistol Pete Maravich's record for points in a career. But he did it in less games and years and without the benefit of the three point shot. There is also a small college, lower division player, can't remember his name, who recently also was a shooting machine.

But Caitlan Clark is really fantastic and if you ever get a chance, go see her. Or at least watch her on TV. I'll bet she gets near to doubling the WNBA attendance records everywhere she goes.

Actually, his record was broken in 1982 by a woman playing for Kansas. It is not acknowledged as there was no women’s NCAA when she broke the record.

Yes, we all understand his record was a harder achievement than the current breaking.

Other than an asterisk on that record, every other record is a firm record.
