Only a few agreed to a temporary delay, but that was in 2022. Some have not been charged with a crime and have been denied bail

In case you missed it, SCOTUS overturned ALL. Put the blame where it really belongs. I don't expect MSM to have carried that story, it goes directly against their narrative-lies.

I asked AI why Biden has not sealed the border.

President Biden has faced challenges in sealing the border due to legal constraints and the need for congressional approval. While he seeks new authority to address border issues, the complexity of U.S. laws, especially regarding asylum claims, limits his ability to unilaterally shut down the border.

Congress does not want to seal the border.
I wonder why.

I also.

Well I too am curious. With all the grief it is causing Biden you would think he would just make Mexico keep them forever.
The problem is DHS doesn't have operational control of the border, the drug cartels do.

Try as they might, neither the American or Mexican governments can reach common ground on how to deal with this crisis, and that is because of corruption at the highest levels in both.

The drug cartels are making truckloads of money, but no one really knows how much they are pulling in,
the cartels operate in the shadows, they don't file tax returns and no one audits them.

Estimates are all over the map.

The United Nations estimated in a 2011 report that worldwide proceeds from drug trafficking and other t***snational organized crime were equivalent to 1.5 percent of global GDP, or $870 billion in 2009.

At a drug caucus hearing June 11, senators heard testimony from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and several experts. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., the caucus co-chair, began her remarks by noting: "The illicit drug trade is a business, valued at anywhere between $426 and $652 billion. Its reach is global. Its distribution is growing. Its leadership is criminal."

Those numbers come from a 2017 study by Global Financial Integrity, a Washington think tank studying illicit flows of money. The report estimated $426 billion to $652 billion in the retail value of t***snational drug-trafficking crime.

Point is, the cartels have the money to pay high ranking Mexican politicians, military and law enforcement officers handsomely to keep them off their backs.

And, no one crosses the border without paying the cartels. Every man, woman and child has a price tag.

Send them back to their home and let them apply LEGALLY - I apologize for offending you with that word.

So one can v**e for a bill that will not allow people to stay here for years and fix it later. Our favorite career criminal just wants the glory.

Right now a person claiming asylum at the border essentially gets to stay here for 5 years because the Republicans have blocked every bill that would increase judges to hear their cases. Quit complaining and call your congressman to pass the border bill.

How about making them apply for asylum in the first free country they come to, like Mexico, and according to International law and consensus.

Biden created the problem by undoing the measures President Trump had put in place. If he just reinstitute those policies the boarder would be sealed.
