If I tried to make up a story to illustrate the absurd incompetence of our federal “leaders,” I couldn’t do better than this: The Congressional Budget Office warns that all the tax credits in the Democrats’ “Inflation Reduction Act” for “green” initiatives like buying EVs and subsidizing battery manufacturing and wind and solar power are going to cost a lot more than the Joint Committee on Taxation originally projected. And I do mean a LOT, as in $428 billion more than originally projected!

Only DC Democrats could create a bill that does nothing but fuel inflation by spending a vast amount of money, call it the “Inflation Reduction Act,” and then later discover that it’s going to cost nearly half a trillion dollars more than they thought.
If they really cared about “g***n e****y,” they’d find some way to run the government that doesn’t involve burning giant piles of money.
