If he cleans up the corrupt Justice Dept & the corrupt FBI & all other corrupt agencies (wishful thinking) would you consider that Retribution or Revenge?

Neither. If there is proof of corruption then the next step is to prosecute and follow the law. We Don't need retribution or revenge. We do need justice if these agencies are corrupt then let justice take it's course.

If someone or something IS corrupt and you prosecute and follow the law you & can't prove it, then per your logic that someone or something is NOT corrupt. BTW, Retribution & Revenge mean the same thing, Retribution just sounds more agreeable to you upper class.

I only wish I was upper class(not really). I am strictly middle class retired military vet and current MA student with goal of teaching first at HS level and/or CC while working on my disertation and PhD.

No offense meant, upper class is just my Philly sarcasm, it gets me in trouble here in SC too. Good luck with your teaching career, maybe you'll be able to get Common Sense 101 added to the HS curriculum. NECHS 1955

With all the bad press (IMO well deserved) the colleges & universities are getting these days, I'd like to hear what your college professors parents have to say on this subject if they're still available for comments. At Yale this year the number of Administrators equaled the the new student admissions. Wasn't able to manufacture a daughter but one our six sons did have three girls before having twin boys who are 23 now.

Unfortunately they have both passed away, my dad in 2020 and mom in 2018 while I was in Germany.(Believe me I wish they were here to talk with about this time) So far my professors here at USA(South AL) have made very little political commentary in either lectures or social media. As for my parents opinion of Mr Trump or Mr GW Bush it was not that favorable from what I remember. They were both BlueDog liberals supporting Mr. Clinton both terms. I also remember they also v**ed for Mr.Obama. I do remember Dad did write regularly that he thought Sec Clinton would have been the better choice in 2016. He also did say that the economic policies of the Trump admin were not all that bad. He also did not dispute the validity of Pres Obamas birth place. He did also agree mistakes were definitely made in the retreat from Afghanistan(one of his last discussions with me before his passing) So I don't know what he would think of the past 4yrs. I think he would be very worried about how things would turn out in this e******n. I also miss them being here especially dad. who I think would give our twins who will be 18 in 8days good advice. On how to research all the info they can in regards to their first journey into p**********l e******n mania. We have supported our girls as much as parents should. We have never told them who to v**e for but become aware of all the issues good and bad facing them and all of us.

My condolences for your loss, the older you get the more you miss your parents. I believe your folks were open-minded & honest and would be kicking themselves in the butt for supporting the present group of Dems. LOL! The Dem party wasn't always this ridiculously bad. When you're driving in the wrong direction you should alway turn around.

As my handle indicates I'm a member of the "Greatest Generation" & the oldest remaining member of a large family. There's nobody left for me to ask questions so I continually have to make up my own answers. Enjoy chatting with you, take care of those girls, (& the Mrs) they do grow up fast.turn
