Not long ago I commented on a post that immigrants from Venezuela were no better or worse than those from other countries. It turns out I was mistaken. It seems that the government of that country are letting criminals out of prison, and sending them here. That is what Cuba did a few decades ago, and it caused real problems.

If we lifted sanctions on Venezuela the situation wouldn’t be so desperate that people flee to the US

JFlorio, I don't know where you got that idea. I believe that Hamas should be wiped out. I do feel sorry for the large number of Palestinians that have died as a result of Israeli bombings. I blame Hamas for this at least as much as Israel because of their building tunnels under hospitals, schools, mosques, and other highly populated places. These tunnels have been used as rocket launching sights, command centers, and armories. In short, they have been used for everything to wage war, but not for sheltering Palestinians. Those tunnels allow Hamas to use civilians as human shields. Having said that, I guess I expected more from the IDF.
