As I have said before, it impacts no more than about 35-40% of the employees, and they always receive retroactive pay. It would barely be a blip in anyone’s life.

Yeah, shut down a few non- essential employees and it's a crisis

Government workers already get over 8 weeks of paid leave every year. A few more days off won't alter anything the government does except what the politicians want it to for political optics.
