You’re kidding, right? Banks made buckets of money off loans to Trump Org. Banks did their due diligence as they always do. Where do you get your info?

How do you c***t a bank on a loan that is paid off?

The operative word in your post is "normal".

DoPo is not in the realm of 'normal'.

No one was financially harmed.

Many people benefitted from the projects including bankers, investors, architects, interior designers, engineers, and construction workers.

Corporate tax revenues increased as well as tax revenues on workers.

Many people found permanent jobs, office workers, maintenance workers, janitors, facilities engineers, security guards.

The case was timed to interfere with Trumps re-e******n.

Trump was denied a jury.

The corrupt DOJ was behind this as well as president Joe Biden.

The judge was a former cab driver with no judicial experience.

Judge Engoron may have had unethical ex-parte communications with Michael Cohen which violates NYC statutes prior to the time the case was brought.

NYC Attorney Latitia James made a campaign promise that if appointed as DA, she would take Trump down.

The severity of the lawsuit penalty was unwarranted and overly excessive and was designed to incur serious financial hardship and deny other family members, Don Junior and Eric, an active role in the business.

The judge’s decision was made as soon as the court learned the Fulton County E******n I**********e Case was imploding due to Fani’s and Wade’s relationship and Wade’s appointment to a position where he was unqualified and yet paid an excessively high salary.

The case is being coordinated by the DOJ although the federal government has no jurisdiction there.

The judge undervalued the properties used as collateral for the loans.

The Trump brand was not considered in the valuation. For example, when Nelson Rockefeller goes in for a loan the Rockefeller brand talks loudly.

None of these defense claims were considered. They were all dismissed. Trump was clearly railroaded and hopefully the Appeals Court will have better jurisprudence.

That was what I had been saying. There was no crime committed there. There was no victim, the t***sactions were both in good faith with the bank and Trump. Most businessmen do that all the time. Not only in real estate.

Most companies loan money from the bank. That's the banks' business lending and charging interest. That's the way how they earn money.

With Trump's case. he borrowed money with all the protocols carried on by the lending bank, and by Trump the borrower. Trump honestly committed to fulfill the agreement. He fully paid the bank on time, and that's the way how most businesses carry on their t***sactions.

Without client borrowers' banks will not survive in business. Lending is the primary activities of the banks.

These ignorant, and stupid l**ters now in power are the criminals convicting the people who work hard when in fact they are the party l**ters and extortionists that need to be convicted.

Biden and family is # 1.

Funny YOU should call anyone a liar. Don’t worry about that little fine we have it covered. It’s nothing compared to what China Joe has cost us.

The lawsuit cost if it holds will cost Trump Inc $450M and the money will be paid to the state of New York. If this becomes a precedent, companies will leave the state in droves.

Real-estate growth in New York will become a thing in the past. There are 1,000s of others who now must be charged as well, if not it proves the political motivation for this case.

But at least these fools will be able to say "we got Trump" as the city collapses even more.

My mom used to describe this as "cutting of your nose to spite your face"

That is exactly what Biden did, except you can change the wording to say he robbed the US Government when he stole classified and top-secret documents as a Senator and VP, but his lawyers found the documents and handed them back to the National Archives with Biden's 'cooperation'. It was still a crime as he willfully retained documents that were illegal for him to have, and he discussed classified information with his ghostwriter who didn't have a security clearance.

They charged general Petraeus with this, and his writer HAD a security clearance. He wasn't dementia ridden though...so much for "no one is above the law"

If that is true why didn't the banks file a case? The banks were actually glad to have his business. Trump gets fined $350 million for no harm, Norfolk southern destroyed a town and payed less.

You definitely have a warped sense of justice

Letitia James has destroyed any faith than anyone could have in New York's judicial system, possibly irreparably. It appears she is now set on gong after the NRA and New York Police Department. Businesses have already begun leaving the state. By the time her term is finished you might be calling New York Letitia James. She is truly dangerous.

Trump was denied a jury because his inept legal counsel did not ask for one. Look at the transcript last. Also, you and I and other Americans that apply for loans and don’t get them are the people that are defrauded.

I just discovered the following article. It gives Trump a glimmer of hope.
