Are Fani Willis & Nathan Wade Guilty of Unethical Behavior?

The testimony yesterday of Fani Willis and Nathan Wade, in the Donald Trump case, showed that they had a relationship before his divorce. She said it began as a mentor type of relationship. Coming as it did, led me to question, did it become romantic before his divorce?

The whole thing stinks. As attorneys, they are obligated to lead exemplary lives. To even begin a relationship, shows poor judgment on their parts.

If it became romantic while he was still married, and it looks as if it did, it shows even poorer judgment.
And if it did, they have tarnished the single most important institution in our American society & tradition. Reams of laws exist to protect marriage, including its inviolability & sanctity. Marriage is a bedrock of our civilization.

As far as I am concerned, they have rendered themselves unqualified as officers of our legal system. They should be disbarred.

Further, eight states still have alienation of affection laws on the books but Georgia is not one of them. Until fairly recently, there was an alienation law in Rhode Island and a man successfully sued an attorney involved from his divorce proceeding. Does Wade's ex-wife have grounds for legal action against them? It would be poetic justice.

And she has invoked her pastor. She should check with him and ask how he feels about it.
