A lot of MAGA folks on OPP claim that President is persecuting political opponents. I think it's just another case of Donald Trump accusing the Democrats of doing what he does. For example, he has threatened to fire federal workers that are Democrats, and replace them with Trump loyalists. He certainly has nothing good to say about the auto workers union for endorsing Biden.
When did politics get so damn ugly? I never liked all this name calling, accusing political opponents of being c*******ts, etc, etc. We don't have to agree on anything political, in fact that's a good thing, but we don't have to be so h**eful to each other. I think that John McConnell was great. He was a genuine American hero that spent more than his share of time at the Hanoi Hilton. I remember when a women was worried about Obama being an "Arab" McConnell told her that Obama was a good family man and not a Muslim. That's the kind of politician I most admire.
