I think we all take the anger reflected in posts as a personal afront. Often it is really just an over emphatic attempt to get our point across, nothing more. I am just as bad as anyone else.

Thank you. A graciously made point worth remembering, on OPP and elsewhere.

Yes, we can certainly all go there.
It is interesting to see people refer to someone of a different political bent as "the opposition" we are all people who want the world to be a place that works better than what we see (or hear) going on.
We just see things from a differing direction.
I must disagree, however, I don't see over emphatic.
Try going through some of these posts with an unbiased view. This is neither a locker room nor a military barracks, IMHO, it should read like the public site it is.

I am not one of the people who use locker room language on OPP. More often than not, even if I agree with the person in question, I ask them to clean up the language for old prudes like me.

I will personally vouch for NPP's above statements .

He is one of many "old prudes" on the OPP.

I don't recall making the post about you. Sorry that you took it personally.

Reading this response to this beautiful group of stories makes me wish to know you better iin a friendly context. Miracle?

I shall resolve to hit the reset button and post disagreement with you more politely. I had taken your anger too personally, I fear.

Apologies offered.

No apologies necessary......but the thought is what really matters....I know we have disagreed in the past, but honestly I can't remember being mean or insulting.. But I am as old as dirt and forgetful....so I'm sorry for anything I may have said in anger or in an irate ting manner......And we ALL need as many friends as we can get....You are now on my list...Thanks for the kind words...

The reference to anger in your avatar name was a play on words for my purposes, meaning to apologize generally for past general churlishness towards any and all on my part. Re reading , I understand your interpretation. Peace.
