Gotta know question

At my house if no other a single question of little matter can go on and on...
This AM my lovely gal reminded me that our son and his long time girl freind were coming up this next weekend..
I asked what are we going to eat.... dang.. she has been on that for hours.. what are we going to eat? I suggested, Hamburgers.. NO.... I said scalloped potato and ham...NO... I said Pizza.... NO.... that seems to be my limit of menu ideas..
So I ask for help from the ever inventive fellow OPPers...
What shall we eat????
Any suggestion at all will be most welcome...
She is a little former army gal who is on medical disability from a truck roll over in the sand pile... but still a smarty and has a masters degree and some attitude.. truly a fine lady.. the son has been on archelogy missions in the Greece and north Africa neck of the woods.. both have jobs at the U of MN..
wify want they to be impressed but not work all day to do it... i still think burgers, but not known for my food ideas.

To impress me just give me a big rib eye cook medium rare. A baked potatoe and steamed vegatables and a salad with either Ceaser or blue cheese dressing . Hold the wine give me a frosty pitcher of raspberry lemonade . Another choice is Salmon patties --clam cakes - deep fried breaded oysters - calimari and french fries . Lemon Meringue pie for dessert
