I have some rich clients here in Florida that own EV's and say they love em. I say good, you can have em. I just don't like the Feds mandating I have to do anything.

They probably just take short trips. We will see if they still love them when they need repairs or a new battery.

Despite doing web searches several times, using different wordings, I have NEVER seen a side by side comparison of the various costs, material, labor, energy etc. in producing and driving EVs vs. gasoline powered cars. And I mean a full comparison. For instance, how is the power derived? What do the materials cost?

That's pretty intense being stuck in the middle of nowhere, lights fading and heat dying!

We had a two-week period where the temperature never went above 35° all across the entire northern United States. Anyone getting stuck in that without heat and nobody to help them out is toast!

just read (will try to find) that E.V.'s are much heavier than the average non- E. V. and do much more damage and wear and tear on the roads.

Fire departments were having a hard time putting out fires! Lithium is highly toxic and poisonous when it burns, and it burns very quickly and very hot...there's almost nothing left after the fire is put out.

Actually, we will see when they have to take a long trip and attempt to have their EV charged.
