Top U.S. officials no-shows at Paris unity rally
While I agree that not having a higher-level official at the rally was a missed opportunity for the U.S., I see no point in making it an issue in the media.
My suspicion is that had we sent either the President or Vice President, Secretary of State (or any other high-ranking individual) OPP would have also had opposing comments on the cost to the taxpayers and the U.S. inserting itself into European culture and politics.
You can't please everyone.
This was not about "European culture and politics." THIS was about MUSLIM TERRORISM! Leaders of the west representing WESTERN CIVILIZATION stood together against TERRORISM and America was ABSENT!
My mother always said, "Excuses are crutches for weaklings." She was right.
Until we get rid of this excuse for a president who occupies the White House and ALL of his pro islamic minions, America is going to continue her decline into the pits of history.
