gorgeous sunshiny day. Clear as a bell and cold as heck.... warmed to minus 4 degrees at the moment.. and what happens, a robin lands on one of the bird feeders.. fat and jolly looking, he must eat well or he simply put on an extra coat of feathers and stayed with us for the winter rather than do all that flying to reach the south...

Anyway.. have a great day, enjoy the sun and stay warm.. BTW, we got no snow but did get a bit chilly.. 19 below overnight..

in a snow drought.. only enough still around to color the ground white..

Honestly, we could use some of that snow up here.. very dry and h**e to think of the farmers dealing with more dry weather come spring and summer.. Not many farmers in this area, most in western to southern minn..

Well you could have used our rains from the other week. About 5" of rain one week and 2 more the next week. And we weren't even dry. I hope you get your fair dose of moisture yet. It's hard on the farmers when it doesn't rain.

The last time it that it got that cold in Coos Bay was in February 1988 . K**led all the palm trees here . I had to dig up my water line clear to the meter and put a new one in because it froze . Now that was an Arctic blast .

Gee, seems it is cold all over.... nice to have heat this time of year... Just a joke, never been without it..

30 degrees can be cold.. I recall some years ago. I ended up buying a new boiler.. but some delay by the contractor and an early cell put temp under 50 degrees.. Not at all bad if out and about.. but sitting on ones butt inside.. darn it got cold.. so it is not a happy thing to be chilled.

Stay great my Viking friend

Yep I have them in my yard and a lemon tree too . I am spoiled by the weather here . Drive 20 miles inland though and you will find snow .
