I have found that I just can't handle the constant insults and disrespect that's being thrown around. I've seen enough.

It seems that most are just chasing their tails, not even trying to listen and have a civil conversation. Then when you try to have a decent conversation, you're called names by others.

When I first came on here, I had decent talks with people and actually exchanged views. I learned quite a bit. It doesn't seem I'm able to do that much anymore.

I will miss those I did have conversations with. Keep the humor.

Understandable. I also share a similar view as yours. There seems to be less and less exchange of views and more and more insults and stupid emojis. It's a shame really.

I try to ignore insults although I admit I give some back. Do not let them run you off for that is the purpose of some. Stay around as you have much to offer.

That is the BIG problem with our country today. Our LEADERS can’t even have civil conversations & will not negotiate with either party. I have followed Politics since ‘64 & sadly, all has changed. I personally am fed up with both parties because most of them are filthy rich & really don’t care about the average American family. Because many Americans are apathetic, they have allowed politicians to give themselves raises after raises , etc & are set for life after only serving one term many times. Our country is at a crossroads this fall.
