Loki- I was there back in the mid 70,s for air defense training. Even remember the museum of the old cavalry unit. Not much but interesting. Your right that place was a place you could only find on a nightmare of desolation. Real s**t hole!!

As I said, I'd forgotten what a slice of s**t that piece of real estate was until my grandson sent me some pictures. Poor kid, of all the places in the world to get stationed.......
