Breaking: Everyone Take a Breath: Trump Will be on the B****t in Colorado and Here’s Why

From "For the Right News" at: https://www.conservativeglobe.com/

"By now you’ve probably heard all the hyperventilating about the decision by the Colorado Supreme Court. Donald Trump has been taken off the b****t for the Colorado primary, because the court declared that Trump waged an “i**********n” against the US government. I’m stunned at how many people are just freaking out against this ruling, especially noted legal scholars, who didn’t take 15 minutes to read through the actual decision. Donald Trump is on the b****t in Colorado and he’s going to stay on the b****t in Colorado. Here’s why.

On page 9 of the ruling, the court issued a stay against its own ruling. To maintain the status quo pending any potential decision by the US Supreme Court, the Colorado Supreme Court issued a temporary stay against its ruling until January 4, 2024.

Here’s what the ruling says on page 9:

“If review is sought in the Supreme Court before the stay expires on January 4, 2024, then the stay shall remain in place, and the Secretary will continue to be required to include President Trump’s name on the 2024 p**********l primary b****t, until the receipt of any order or mandate from the Supreme Court.”

The second that this ruling came down, President Trump and his attorneys announced that they are appealing it to the US Supreme Court. That keeps the Colorado Supreme Court’s stay in place indefinitely. By the time the Supreme Court even gets around to putting this case on its docket, Colorado’s primary e******n will be over. Trump will be on the b****t, and he’s going to win in Colorado.

This was nothing more than a partisan political stunt by the Democrats on the Colorado Supreme Court. The ruling was completely partisan, 4-3. The Colorado Supreme Court knows, just as the high courts in other states have already ruled, that state supreme courts do not have the authority to pick and choose between p**********l candidates. They just did this as a stunt to make the hearts of Democrat v**ers flutter.

The ruling also declares Trump to be guilty of i**********n, which was odd. He’s never been charged with i**********n. No law enforcement entity, including the crazed special counsel Jack Smith, has ever even accused Trump of i**********n. He certainly hasn’t been convicted of i**********n.

I**********n is a specific crime. You can’t just declare someone guilty of it. The idea that the Supreme Court would somehow uphold this ruling is preposterous.

Next, the Colorado Republican Party immediately announced that if Trump is removed from the b****t, they will withdraw from the primary as a party and hold a pure caucus like Iowa. B****ts would be irrelevant in that situation. Trump would simply be a candidate like any other in that situation, and he’s allowed to caucus because he is a legitimate candidate.

I really have to hand it to Ramalamadingdong on this one. Vivek Ramaswamy clearly read the court ruling and he knows that Trump is going to be on the b****t no matter what happens. So, he announced that if Trump is off the b****t, he will withdraw from the Colorado primary. He then demanded that Christ Christie, Ron DeSantis, and Nikki Haley all do the same, “Or else they are tacitly endorsing this illegal maneuver which will have disastrous consequences for our country.”

That was pure cutthroat politics right there. Ramaswamy knew that Trump is going to be on the b****t, so there was no personal risk to him in pledging to drop out. But since nobody else bothered to read the f**e ruling, everyone thinks he’s making a promise that has skin in the game. It doesn’t, but it looks great. Nice job.

It’s too bad that Ramaswamy is an anchor baby and therefore ineligible to be President of the United States. He could be a really good contender in 2028, based on his political instincts.

Putting everything else aside, this further delegitimizes the Biden regime here at home and abroad. Upon hearing about the Democrats’ banana republic tactics against Trump, El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele announced, “The United States has lost its ability to lecture any other country about democracy.”

He’s absolutely correct. It’s not a democracy if we’re not allowed to v**e for the candidate of our choice."

I did not write that article; as noted, it was obtained from https://www.conservativeglobe.com/

I hope you're right, Liberty, because, if DJT, for any reason, cannot continue to run, Ramaswamy, based on what I know now, would be my choice as candidate.

Apparently, their belief that Ramaswamy is ineligible is based on what they call "the Three Legged Stool Test for being a “natural born Citizen” of the United States, and thus eligible to run for the presidency of the United States, per the Constitution:"

1. Born in the United States
2. Father a naturalized citizen
3. Mother a naturalized citizen

CDR Charles F. Kerchner, Jr. (Ret), blogging at CDRKerchner, ©2023

"A 'natural born Citizen' of the United States is a child born with Sole Allegiance and Unity of Citizenship at birth to one and only one country — the USA, i.e., a child born in the USA of two (2) U.S. Citizens. The parents can be Citizens by Birth or they can be Citizens by Naturalization later in life after immigrating to the USA. But to create a “natural born Citizen” of the United States both parents must be Citizens at the time the child is born in the USA."

"Vivek Ramaswamy’s parents immigrated from India to the USA about the year 1983 per publicly available information and Vivek was born soon thereafter in 1985. It takes at least five (5) years to become a naturalized United States Citizen."

Personally, Liberty, I have no definitive knowledge regarding the citizenship and/or immigration status of his parents when he was born in 1985 in Ohio and/or exactly what year his parents immigrated from India to the USA.

I would assume he and his supporters carefully verified his eligibility to run before he filed for the office; that was not the focus of the article for me.

Those born on USA soil are natural born citizens regardless of the parents status. This has always been the case.

YES!!!!!!!

We need to either clarify or get rid of the 14th Amendment, which was never supposed to mean that pregnant women who are not citizens could sneak across our border, have their baby at a border hospital and claim it as an American citizen!

Thank you for posting this, Zemirah! It's good to know that justice is still in play...at least for this. Maybe other states will think twice before making fools of themselves like this!

That three legged stool test would eliminate Kamala Harris by two legs
Both her parents were foreign students here on visas
And I believe Obama's supposed father was also a foreign student
