Obama is not the greatest danger to America.

The greatest danger to America is the abject stupidity of an e*****rate that allows such an evil creature to infest the White House.

Very well said, hprinze! Without that stupidity, Obama wouldn't even be in politics. Intelligent people wouldn't v**e for him - unless they were co-conspirators, and frankly I believe many of them are just that!

I feel your frustration...every single day. We can lament the fact that America has elected a C*******t to the office of President of the United States from now until that 'hot place' gets cold and icy, and we will accomplish nothing.

What we must do is force ourselves to live within the reality that exists, and work toward the removal of the very real threat that Obama and his 'Socialist Democratic Party' pose to the sanctity of this nation.

I consider the Democratic Party, and ALL members of that Party, to be totally corrupt. George Washington, in his infinite wisdom, warned us to be wary of politicians and Political Parties that put the interests of their 'Party' above the interests of America.

The primary interest of the Democrats seems to favor a "One World Government' (using the United Nations as the governing base), and a Socialist society within America that reduces every American citizen to an economic condition equal to the citizens of third-world countries. After all, 'e******y' is the end-all and be-all...is it not?

The GOP on the other hand spews meaningless verbiage across the landscape claiming to be 'Fiscal Conservatives' and the 'protectors' of the Constitution and our American way of life. Note the dissension between the GOP 'Old Guard' (Carl Rove, John Boehner, et al) and those who truly want to shrink the size of our government, reduce the national debt, and protect the Bill of Rights that guarantees liberty to all Americans. Many in the GOP believe we should be willing to give up "...just a little of our freedom" to be 'a little more safe' from terrorists!

Remember, it was George Bush who spent more than Bill Clinton thereby contributing to the 'feeding frenzy' of tax dollars and expanding our national debt. Remember, it was George Bush's 'No Child Left Behind' that expanded the federal government's intrusion into public education...a venue reserved for the States. How has that worked out for us?

Remember the man picked by the GOP to run against Obama in 2012? A man who had, personally, of his own volition, inflicted OBAMACARE on the citizens of Massachusetts? Have you listened closely to the ramblings of Rove, Boehner, Graham, McConnell, McCain et al? These people have been awake (??) and on duty (??) for term-after-term and watched this nation sink ever deeper into the abyss.

The GOP's current 'man-of-the-hour', Marco Rubio, is intent on one issue...'Immigration Reform' which may help the GOP garner SOME of the Hispanic v**e which constitutes only 8.5% of the total e*****rate...while ignoring 95% of the Conservative e*****rate who consistently support the GOP. He will, in the end, merely accomplish what Ronald Reagan managed to achieve...AMNESTY to i******s without the benefit of 'border security' that guarantees a super-influx of more i******s than this nation has the capacity to support. 'COMPROMISE', you see, is a bulwark of the GOP. Now, ain't the Grand Old Party...absolutely GRAND??

A strong THIRD PARTY is needed in this country. One that provides a home to Americans who want to see the Constitution upheld. For that to occur Independents, Tea-Partyers, and all those fed up with Democrats and Republican 'business-as-usual' types and their cronies must come together to garner sufficient representation in the House of Representatives and the US Senate to thwart the efforts of both Dems and Repubs. I hope I'm alive to see that day come.

Great post Don: For this third party, who would you recommend ?

Also, since your post mentioned Massachusetts, and that fact that you seem very knoledgable, may I pick your brain on the race between Edward Markey and Gabriel Gomez?

I agree with everything you said. BUT, we don't need to form any more political parties. We already have 2 perfectly good political parties in the US, but we cannot seem to get the republicans to join us. Both the Libertarian and the Constitutional Parties are far superior to either the Democrats or the Republicans, and why republicans don't FLOCK to them is beyond my comprehension. I bolted from the Republican Party after 50 years because I got so disgusted with them pussy footing and rolling over for the socialists in Congress.

I beg all republicans, please, join one of the above mentioned Parties TODAY.

we need to remember, all those RINO's we have are just democrats that deserted their own party when they let the c*******t take over the democrat party we need to make them either go back to their own party or they can start a new party, my opinion

The only true way to do this is to go back to the conservative roots we once had which will then force the Rinos to run away from the party and leave the true conservatives in charge. It is the socialists like Karl Rove and others of the big party movement that must be gotten rid of. The problem is that they seem to have the monies necessary to pulling if the c**p whereas the rest of us have to suffer along. If the Republicans could get out of the middle of the road attitude and back to conservative principals maybe we could win back enough people to remove the Roves and socialists in the party.

Gabriel Gomez would be my choice. He is a truly heroic man who has earned the right to be a United States Senator. I wish he lived in my state of Virginia. I would work to get him elected until I collapsed into a coma if necessary. I offer you this link (through BING) that will tell you a great deal concerning his biography. Its time the people of Massachusetts woke up and smelled the coffee. Socialist Democrats will do nothing for them in the long run. And one more point...and I mean no offense. You (and all of us) ultimately get the government you (we) deserve. Analyze carefully the terrorist bombing at the Boston Marathon. Should any citizen of Massachusetts be satisfied with the slip-shod, haphazard, incompetent performance of the various government agencies from federal, state, and local organizations? Every single one operated out-of-their-depth. An excellent example of the incompetent, ineffectiveness of government at all levels.

Thanks for the link. Although I sure hope by your reference to the local aspect of your statement, doesn't mean the troops, with boots on the ground, going toward what everyone else was running away from, rescuing and saving lives.

If I remember correctly; however, he told the Governor he would support gun control and another issue that is very pro Democrat. Having said that, someone their then entrenched Washington Markey would be an improvement.

I failed to answer your question concerning a third party. I have been conflicted on this issue for most of my adult life. I have witnessed the turmoil in countries with a multitude of political parties, such as France, and counted America fortunate that our political landscape was populated with but two main parties. Neither of these two parties, however, Democrat or GOP, stands for, or operates within, the political agendas or boundaries of 50 years ago.

Both parties have been infected by vermin who refer to themselves as 'Progressives'. Upon analysis I determined that 'Progressive' was merely a buzzword...a smokescreen if you will, to conceal their Socialist agenda. Both political parties are afflicted, in my view, with a terminal case of 'Progressiveitis'.

Therefore, I must find a way to have my voice heard above the din of those who mouth their lies and expand their v**er base with promises of expensive programs paid for by the labor of loyal Americans. I have no clue at this juncture as to how I can accomplish that feat.

This is the best answer to your question that I have at this time.

I saw the videos of the bombing over and over and over just as every other American did. I watched the bomber place the backpack on the ground with a Boston police officer standing just a short distance behind him. After the explosion I saw some police officers, and civilians, rush to help the injured without regard to their own safety. I also saw a number of police officers removing themselves from the danger area as hastily as possible.

I saw the first photographs of the Tsarnaevs released to the public that were of such poor quality that the people who came into contact with them on a daily basis could not positively identify them. Only after another set of photographs was released were the people who knew and could identify them did so.

The people of Watertown suffered under the constraints of 'Marshal Law', though I do not recall such a declaration being made by the Governor of the state. Only when the people were allowed out of their houses was the younger of the two brothers apprehended.

It is a sad fact that the entire incident would have been avoided save for the incompetence of those whose sworn duty it was to protect the people gathered there. People died...and were maimed for no reason I can fathom. After the incident one snafu after another delayed the capture of the Tzarnaevs and those delays caused by the unwillingness of the authorities to share information with the public cost another young police officer his life, and maimed another.

If we do not dissect all of the facts now known to determine what was done correctly, and what was botched...we are doomed to suffer repeat performances by both terrorists and the people paid to protect us all. My heart goes out to the victims...all of them. There should not have been any victims at all in Boston on that sunny April day. The system let them all down long before April 15th in at 2:49 PM.
