I totally agree. The woman should always be free to choose if and when to have an a******n. This case is a good example of the need for the pro-choice position.

I'm still pro- life but with exceptions as in rape, incest and in this case danger to mother's life..

There are extremely few cases where the mother's life is in danger; far fewer than 800,000 a******n performed each year. Did your mother ever regret not aborting you?

Kate Cox, 31, of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, sought court authorization for the a******n because her fetus was diagnosed on Nov. 27 with trisomy 18, a genetic a******lity that usually results in miscarriage, stillbirth or death soon after birth.
Cox, who is about 20 weeks pregnant, said in her lawsuit that she would need to undergo her third caesarean section if she continues the pregnancy. That could jeopardize her ability to have more children, which she said she and her husband want.
Has she thought about her ability to have more children as she and her husband have stated if she goes through with an a******n is one of the questions I have.
BTW… this is NOT an endangerment to the Mrs Cox’s life. Stillbirth or miscarriage result in the death of the mother <0.01% of the time in the U.S.

You are pro life until YOU decide it is free choice. Do you see a problem with that? I am still pro-choice because the woman is always in the best position to decide, not you.

When an unborn child is diagnosed with the fatal genetic condition Trisomy 18, parents are offered a termination in this setting, given this condition is not compatible with life. The mother chooses to continue with her life.
