The conversation is over for the night. I am more than ready to crawl into a warm bed for the night.

Goodnight to all :!:

What's going on out there, Salty? I woke up this morning to hear & see on the news a 5-ft. snake being pulled out of a toilet in downtown San Diego.

CYA, my friend :!:

I had obtained the necessary measurements, for a runt size pine box, prior to the washing machine issues.

I'm not one to say, "I told you so," but, Slatten, I tried to warn you. At least, between cedar and pine, both are evergreens. Cedar will last longer underground than pine will. And, for you to fit into a "runt-sized" box, perhaps 'dismemberment' is in her plans. One never knows with

PS-AuntiE, I'm sorry to hear about your washing machine issues. The wife and I are going to HHGreg, today, to look into a new dryer. Our's has decided to quit even though it's only 4 years old. It would cost $350 to repair it and we can buy a new one for $500. Appliances just aren't made like they used to be. :hunf:

Thank you, once again, for your concerns.

I will simply point out as I often do to my adversary....1500 miles is a comfortable buffer zone.

We had a similar issue a few years back. We had a squirrel get caught in our toilet. Worst case of suicide by "drowning in s**t" I've ever seen. Had to take up the toilet to get the body out and the toilet to flush right.

How did a squirrel get in your bathroom, or toilet, for that matter?

Security had to have been pretty slack. :XD:

Best we could surmise was that it had fallen into and down one of the "stink pipes" (sewer vent pipes that protrude through the roof), had crawled along, inside the house's main sewer pipe and then decided to exit through the pipe that connects the commode with the sewer pipe. Unfortunately for him, he became stuck in the curved portion of the toilet bowl pipe, and ended up literally drowning in s**t.

Try as I may, I couldn't unstop the toilet; even using a professional grade plumber's snake. After deciding to remove the toilet to gain better access to the sewer pipe, the squirrel was discovered, its lower half dangling from the bottom of the toilet bowl. At one point I had a picture of it, but I can't locate the pix at present.

Actually, the sewer security worked well. The squirrel never made it into the living quarters and its threat was neutralized.

You should'a thought to put a 5-6 ft. python in there to eat your problem away :!:

Thank you for your concern. Everything is covered. I have a sign on the inside of the bowl stating 'no liberals live here'.

I am drawn to asking how Carlton (?) is doing.
